Whether you want to dive deep with our intensive Bootcamp or balance your studies with nomadic life in our Real World program, our group classes offer the perfect blend of structured learning and social connection.

With a maximum of 6 students per class, you get the individual attention of private tutoring with the community of a shared journey.

Class Size & Quality Guarantee: Our immersive group classes are designed for dynamic interaction and require a minimum of 2 students to run. If you are the only person registered for a specific slot, don't worry—we won't cancel on you! Baselang will automatically transition your session into an equivalent premium/individual format for that day so you never lose your learning momentum.

Important Information:

  • Flexible start dates: For Real World levels A2 and B1 classes start every single Monday. (A1, B2, Bootcamp & Weekenders start the first Monday of the month).

  • Choose your duration: Real World A2 and B1 levels are available for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or a full month.

  • All levels are subject to minimum enrollment to open a new time slot.

Spanish that fits real life in Medellin

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Understand frequently used expressions related to daily life and routines
  • Communicate in simple, routine tasks that require a direct exchange of information
  • Describe your background, environment, and immediate experiences
  • Talk about plans, preferences, and past experiences using simple sentences
  • Participate in short conversations, even if pauses and mistakes happen

In Real Life: You can live your life in Spanish—appointments, social situations, work chats, and everyday problems feel doable without switching to English.

Choose this level if: You can already get by in Spanish but want to speak more naturally and with less effort. You can handle most everyday situations, but longer conversations still feel tiring or frustrating. If you’re living or working in Colombia and want to express opinions, explain ideas, and participate more fully in conversations, B1 is a strong fit.

The Weekenders: Spanish Foundations (A2)

Schedule: Saturdays, 9:30 am – 1:00 pm

Duration: 3.5 hours per class (14 hours in total)

Confidence-building Spanish practice for people living in Medellín.

This Saturday-only cohort is designed for learners who already have started to build a foundation in Spanish and want to speak more comfortably, consistently, and confidently in real-life situations.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Participate more actively in everyday conversations without freezing or overthinking
  • Speak with greater ease about daily routines, plans, and experiences
  • Use common grammatical structures more naturally through guided practice
  • Ask questions, clarify meaning, and keep conversations going
  • Feel more confident speaking Spanish in social and community settings

In Real Life: You feel more at ease speaking Spanish day to day in cafés, with neighbors, in shops, and in casual conversations, and you are no longer avoiding opportunities to speak.

Choose this level if: You can already get by in Spanish and understand much of what you hear, but still hesitate when speaking or feel limited in conversations. You are living in Medellín or planning to stay long-term and want structured speaking practice and community without starting from zero or committing to weekday classes.

Our Methodology: How it Works

We follow a structured, 4-week curriculum designed to move you through levels efficiently.

  • Start Date: New cohorts begin the first Monday of every month.
  • The Rotation: We alternate between modules A/B-1 and A/B-2 every month, ensuring fresh content and continuous progression for long-term students.
  • Placement Process: Before you start, you’ll undergo a brief evaluation to ensure you are placed in a group that matches your current speaking and listening skills.
